I've posted to Valparaiso University's flickr page 242 photos from the Social Action Leadership Team spring break service trip to New Orleans. Captions are sparse so far, but I'm working on them.
I took a lot of video, which we're planning to fashion into something more coherent than the random clips I've got right now. Some of it will likely end up on the university's YouTube page, which is here.
I like photos and stories about work spaces, like this look at Gawker Media's New York offices.
I took a run around my neighborhood last night at dusk and took my camera with me. I live near this golf course. I'm not a golfer, but my dad is. I'm sure he'll get some use out of it. Looks like a nice course.

On my last Saturday at the Knoxville News Sentinel, I wrote the A1 headline that appears in today's paper.
Headline writers come in all sorts of styles. I tend to go for the straight-laced, subtle headline rather than striving for something that's overtly catchy or flowery. I thought this one was a nice, workmanlike entry. I like the subdued double-meaning (i.e., a revival in the sense that UT is back after going 5-7 last year, and a revival in a tongue-in-cheek religious meaning — Vols football is described as a sort of religion around here on occasion) and it's fun to work "Rocky Top" into a headline.
While I was at it, I took a few photos around the outside of our building.
It was one of those beautiful September days in East Tennessee. I had lunch downtown with some friends/colleagues and strolled around Market Square and environs a bit.
